You Should Know About the Route of Golden Chariot Train

Golden Chariot is a luxury train that focuses on the states of South India. The train provides two tours namely; The Pride of South and The Splendour of South.

 In Pride of South, the train takes you through Karnataka and Goa. The train tour starts in Bangalore and ends in Goa. It is a seven nights and eight days trip that include main destinations like Kabini, Mysore, Hassan, ruins of Hampi and Badami. The trip starts on a Monday. The tourists start their travel towards Mysore and reach there by midnight. Tourists enjoy Kabini and Mysore tourist destinations and start their travel to Hassan on day four. After enjoying important destinations, it would reach Hospet. From Hospet, tourists take road transportation to reach the ruins of Hampi. On day six, the train reaches Badami. On day seven, the train reaches its last tourist destination, Goa. After a full day in Goa, the train halts its journey at Bangalore on the morning of day eight. By afternoon, the luxury train will be ready for the next trip.

The South Splendour covers three states of South India, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. This route also includes the union territory, Pondicherry. The Golden Chariot train starts its trip from Bangalore on day one. It reaches Chennai, Tamil Nadu on day two and tourists visit Mahabalipuram, a world heritage site before starting their trip to Pondicherry. From Pondicherry, the train reaches Tanjavur on day four. On day five, the train takes a slight turn towards left and reaches Madurai. On day six, the train reaches the next state, Kerala and halts at Trivandrum. On day seven, the train reaches Aleppey and also halts at Kochi. From Kochi, the train takes its last trip of the tour and reaches Bangalore on the morning of day eight. The tour starts and ends in Bangalore, Karnataka and it covers eight destinations in this trip that stretches for seven nights and eight days.
